Adobong Puisit | Squid Adobo Recipe |

Adobong Pusit Ingredients: |

1/2 Kilo squids, preferably small or medium size
-
1/2 cup vinegar
-
10 cloves of garlic, crushed
-
1 or 2 sliced tomatoes
-
1 medium sized onion, diced
-
2 Tablespoons of cooking oil
-
Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: 1 teaspoon of MSG (Vetsin)
Squid Adobo Cooking Instructions: |

In a bowl, clean squid thoroughly in running water including the head.

Remove the eyes, head innards and ink.

In a wok or pan, place the cleaned squid and add the vinegar, 5 cloves of garlic, salt and pepper.

Bring to a boil, then cover the pan and let simmer in low heat till squid is tender.

Let cool then slice squids into two or more pieces.

In a pan, sauté the remaining 5 cloves of garlic, onion and tomatoes in cooking oil.

Mix-in the squid including the sauce and let simmer for another 5 to 10 minutes.

Sat and pepper to taste and add the MSG if desired.
